Legislative Update: End of Session

The Legislature adjourned for interim recess on Friday, September 13, and will re-convene on January 6, 2014.  The Governor now has until October 13 to sign or veto bills passed by the Legislature.  Bills that failed passage have become two-year bills and will have a second chance to proceed in January.  Below is an update on a number of key bills.

2014 C.A.S.H. Student School Design Recognition Award

Following is information for the C.A.S.H. 3rd Annual Student School Design Recognition Award program.

For this year’s 2nd Annual Program, presented at the C.A.S.H. Annual Conference in February, we received 21 submittals from architecture students throughout California.

The entries were judged by a jury made up of public and private sector school facility professionals and selected first, second, and third place winning designs.  Following are the winners:

C.A.S.H. Monthly Meeting Minutes, Wednesday, September 25, 2013

A webcast of the entire General Membership Meeting will be available on the C.A.S.H. website. 

C.A.S.H. Chair, Joe Dixon, called the meeting to order at 11:05 a.m.  New members and guests were welcomed and introduced.

Due to technical difficulties, the live webcast is unavailable.  The session will be recorded and posted to the website soon.

Joe noted that the CASH Register is no longer going to come out in the printed version.  The new CASH Register web page at www.cashfacilitiesnews.org is now live.
