State Allocation Board Makes Funding Apportionments

Posted on September 22, 2015 by CASH

September 22, 2015

On September 8, 2015, the State Allocation Board (Board) provided $190.9 million in School Facility Program (SFP) apportionments for 53 projects in 26 school districts.  This represents 90 percent of the projects on the Unfunded List (Lack of AB 55 Loans) that were eligible to submit apportionment requests in the recent filing round.  The Board provided apportionments for all requests submitted.  Districts receiving apportionments must submit a valid Form SAB 50-05, Fund Release Authorization, by December 7, 2015.  These projects were funded primarily from the proceeds of a State general obligation bond sale that began on August 27, 2015, and included $154,540,000 for the SFP.
