The California Energy Commission was designated through Senate Bill 73 to lead a process with its sister agencies to develop guidelines, which will be posted on our webpage when completed. The public will have opportunities to offer public and written comments at future workshops. The legislation includes a number of requirements to ensure Proposition 39 funds deliver the expected energy efficiency and cost savings, and spells out the details of how the grant funds will be allocated to California’s K-12 schools and community colleges as described in the chart. Please Ann Shimasaki, at the California Energy Commission, at ann.shimasaki@energy.ca.gov if you have any questions. We welcome your feedback.
