New Programs, New Promise: California School Facilities 2008 is the theme for C.A.S.H.'s 29th Annual Conference, February 25-28, 2008. Proposition 1D established several new programs and renewed funding for several existing programs. While the $7.3 billion from Proposition 1D and the remaining funds from previous state general obligation bonds offer the promise to address several school facilities needs, the new funding and new programs also present many challenges.

What are the new regulations implementing the many new programs, what are the implementation timelines, how do you maximize access to the new and existing funds and plan and implement your local school facilities program in the most efficient, cost effective, and educationally appropriate manner? Under the leadership of Bill Savidge, Chair of the Annual Conference Planning Committee and C.A.S.H. Vice Chair, the Planning Committee has assembled an outstanding array of topics and presenters that will answer these questions and many others.
