Resources for High Performance Products, Processes, and Expertise Elizabeth Shirakh, California Energy Commission Exemplary CHPS Projects/Processes Kristin Heinen, Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) High Performance Incentive Grant Program Steve Paul, Office of Public School Construction Tim Hegedus, Office of Public School Construction A High Performance, Performance Contract for Lighting--Richard Henry Dana Elementary and San Clemente High Schools, Capistrano Unified School District Tom Rayburn, EDU Business Solutions Facilitated Small-Group, Hands-on Activity Facilitators will divide audience into three groups. Each group will be informed that their school board has the following concerns with adopting CHPS standards: (1) concerns with upfront costs; (2) concerns that systems are too sophisticated; and (3) concerns that sustainable materials are not durable. Each group will be asked to draft a board resolution pertaining to these concerns which addresses new construction, modernization, and existing schools.
