The OPSC Plan Verification Team (PVT) and its reviews of project application submittals for State funding is one of the more critical first steps in the School Facility Program process - the review impacts almost every funding application, including new construction projects on existing school campuses. This workshop will provide an in-depth review of the PVT process, including:

  • An overview of additional/supplemental grants available to school districts
  • A discussion of common submittal errors and how to avoid them
  • A discussion on preparing appropriate project cost estimates for a speedy PVT review
  • Anecdotes from the field - real-life district experiences with the PVT and tips on how to prepare for the PVT review

Hear from the experts about how best to approach the PVT. Workshop panelists include a representative from the OPSC Plan Verification Team, school district practitioners, architects, and funding consultants. School districts planning for State funding can’t afford to miss this workshop!

Note: This will be a half-day workshop only. We will provide a continental breakfast and refreshments and adjourn before lunch. Attendees will continue to receive the same number of hours of high quality presentations that they are typically provided in our full-day workshops.
