New Construction and Modernization Eligibility and Grant Determination

SACRAMENTO Tuesday, July 21, 2009 Doubletree Hotel ONTARIO 2200 E. Holt Blvd., Ontario This workshop is a hands-on back to basics workshop for school district staff on how to complete, review, and submit School Facility Program (SFP) New Construction and Modernization applications. This workshop will cover the SFP rules, regulations, policies and procedures involved in calculating new construction and modernization eligibility and grants. Workshop participants will learn the right way and the wrong way to complete SFP documents, how to avoid frequently made mistakes, and insider tips and short cuts to help ensure documents are prepared, reviewed, and approved in the most efficient and expeditious way possible.
There will be ample time to ask detailed and specific questions. OPSC staff will be present and available to answer all of your questions (in Sacramento Only). This workshop is ideal for both new and veteran school facilities personnel who want to refine and refresh their knowledge of State New Construction and Modernization Program Eligibility and Grant determination regulations, policies, and procedures.
Note: In recognition of summer schedules, we are instituting during the summer months morning workshops only. We will provide a continental breakfast and refreshments and adjourn before lunch. Attendees will continue to receive the same number of hours of high quality presentations that they are typically provided in our half-day workshops.
