The final regulatory proposals and rulemaking record for new LCP regulations were
filed by DIR with the Office of Administrative Law on May 17, 2010. OAL has until
June 28 to complete its review. If OAL approves the new LCP regulations they will be
effective August 1, 2010.
This workshop will address the proposed amendments to regulations governing Labor
Compliance Programs, Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement by the Department
of Industrial Relations, and other revisions impacting public school facility projects.
The regulatory changes include new pre-job and jobsite requirements and reporting
requirements, and impact project costs and funding.
Areas covered in the workshop will include:

- Amount Awarded for the Project
- Fees for Compliance Monitoring by DIR
- Exclusion of Land Acquisition Costs
