What's New for Construction Contracts in 2012 Labor Compliance Programs * 5% Retention Limit

In 2011, the Legislature and Governor approved AB 436 (Solario), which creates new rules for how Labor Compliance Programs must be operated, and SB 293 (Padilla), which prohibits retention proceeds in excess of 5% on public works projects. These new laws have significant implications for those running construction programs in 2012 and beyond. This workshop will bring you current information on these important new laws, as well as provide practical information on how to comply with their requirements.
